一 |     총 5608건 접수...평균 경쟁률 9.8대 1                    역곡지구 하우스토리 조감도. 냠광토건 제공[파이낸셜뉴스] 남광토건이 경기도 부천시 부천역곡지구 A-2블록에 공급한 신혼희망타운 '역곡지구 하우스토리'가 지난 7월 진행된 본청약에서 높은 경쟁률을 기록하며 흥행에 성공했다. 한국토지주택공사(LH) 청약플러스에 따르면 지난 7월 22일부터 23일까지 진행된 '역곡지구 하우스토리' 본청약에는 총 570가구 모집에 5608건이 접수되어 평균 9.8대 1의 경쟁률을 기록했다. 특히 가장 많은 청약자가 몰린 전용 55㎡A 타입은 165가구 모집에 2513건이 접수되며 최고 15.2대 1의 경쟁률을 나타냈다. 이 밖에도 전용 55㎡E 타입이 10.2대 1, 55㎡C 타입이 8.8대 1을 기록하는 등 대부분의 타입이 고루 우수한 성적을 거뒀다. 이번 청약 흥행은 신혼부부, 예비신혼부부, 한부모가족 등으로 신청 자격이 다소 제한되는 신혼희망타운임에도 많은 수요가 몰렸다는 점에서 의미가 크다. 실수요자들의 선호도가 높은 전용 55㎡ 단일 면적에 4Bay 판상형 구조와 타입별 드레스룸, 팬트리 등 특화 설계가 적용되어 공간 활용도를 높인 점이 주효했다는 분석이다. 아울러 최상층 스카이라운지와 다목적 실내체육관, 게스트하우스 등 민간참여 사업 특유의 우수한 커뮤니티 시설과 합리적인 분양가(전용 55㎡ 기준 4억원 중후반~5억원 초반)가 적용되어 높은 관심을 이끌어냈다. 이처럼 역곡지구 하우스토리가 성공적으로 청약을 마감하면서 남광토건이 오는 10월 인근 3기 신도시에 선보일 후속 사업지에도 자연스럽게 이목이 쏠리고 있다. 남광토건은 오는 10월 부천대장 공공주택지구 A-2블록에 조성되는 '부천 대장지구 A-2BL'의 견본주택을 개관하고 분양에 나설 예정이다. LH와 남광토건 컨소시엄이 시행을 맡고 남광토건 컨소시엄이 시공하는 이 단지는 공공분양 총 548가구(전용 59·74·84㎡) 규모로 조성된다. 단지는 대장홍대선 대장역(예정) 역세권 입지를 갖췄으며, GTX-D(계획), S-BRT(예정) 등 다수의 광역 교통망 확충 호재가 기대된다. 또한 도보권 내 유·초·중·고교(예정) 부지가 위치한 학세권과 단지 인근 수변 산책로 등 쾌적한 자연환경을 동시에 누릴 수 있다. 특히 부천에 이어 인천 계양까지 이어지는 총 5280가구 규모의 '하우스토리' 브랜드 타운으로 조성되어 프리미엄도 기대된다. 업계 관계자는 "역곡지구에서 실수요자들의 높은 관심과 두 자릿수에 가까운 경쟁률을 확인한 만큼, 뛰어난 입지와 상품성을 갖춘 부천 대장지구 A-2BL에도 수요자들의 발걸음이 이어질 것"이라고 내다봤다. 견본주택은 역곡지구 하우스토리와 동일한 경기도 부천시 원미구 상동 일원에 마련될 예정이다.。

Chinese animated film Niu Lai, initially mocked online for its "worest" production, has become an unlikely box-office and internet sensation in China and abroad, spawning memes, merchandise and growing interest from global audiences.
Niu Lai crossed 40 million yuan ($5.95 million) in box-office receipts late Saturday, according to Lighthouse, a Chinese ticketing and box-office platform. Meanwhile, Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey currently ranks sixth among this summer's top-grossing films in China, with box-office receipts reaching 457 million yuan.
The film opened in Chinese theaters August 5 and grossed just 342 yuan on its opening day. Its box office totaled around 7,700 yuan over its first 10 days before screenings and ticket sales surged beginning August 14, fueled by widespread online ridicule and curiosity about the film's notoriously rough animation.
It was made over five years by a mother-and-son team, with its crude animation, stiff character movements and unusual plot becoming the main source of its popularity.
It has since become a broader online phenomenon in China. Merchants have begun selling plush toys modeled on its characters, while fans have created memes, posters and other unofficial merchandise. Moviegoers have even placed homemade posters in theaters, although the production company has not released an official poster.
On Douyin, China's version of TikTok, users have produced numerous clips and other fan-made content based on the film. Multiple official Chinese accounts on the platform have also joined the trend, while some users have used AI tools to create new variations of the meme.
Police in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui Province, used an image from the film in a traffic-safety notice posted on its Douyin account.
Interest has also emerged in Hong Kong, where users on social media have been discussing the film's surprise box-office success and calling for its release in local theaters. Some users tagged Broadway Cinematheque, a Hong Kong independent cinema, asking when it would screen the film. The cinema's official account replied "in talks," prompting excitement among Hong Kong moviegoers. 
The cinema later said it had received a number of requests from audiences but that no screening plans had been finalized, local media reported.
The phenomenon has also crossed China's borders.
The Financial Times and other international media outlets have reported on the film, with some comparing its unlikely rise to cult movies such as The Room, which became famous in part because audiences embraced its flaws.
The movie's growing popularity has also moved beyond social media.
In San Francisco, two independently organized screenings of Niu Lai sold out, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. The screenings were held at a time when the film had yet to secure a broad official overseas release.
The film is now attracting interest from overseas distributors, with Singapore film distributors considering bringing Niu Lai to local theaters, according to Singapore's Lianhe Zaobao.
The Niu Lai meme has also been picked up by organizations outside China, showing how the film's imagery has begun to take on a life beyond the movie itself.
In Malaysia, a blood donation center in Johor Bahru used the story of Niu Lai in a humorous and inspirational social media message encouraging people to donate blood, according to Lianhe Zaobao.
The official TikTok account of Dutch railway operator Nederlandse Spoorwegen also joined the trend, using the Niu Lai meme in one of its posts.
Such uses suggest that Niu Lai is evolving beyond a film-related meme into a broader piece of internet culture, with institutions and brands using its recognizable imagery to connect with audiences, Zhang Peng, a cultural researcher and associate professor at Nanjing Normal University, told the Global Times.
The overseas response reflects a reversal of the traditional path for Chinese films seeking international audiences. Rather than being promoted abroad as a polished production built around Chinese culture or expensive visual effects, Niu Lai has traveled overseas largely because audiences found its roughness and absurdity impossible to ignore, he noted.
Its unexpected popularity overseas offers an unusual form of cultural export, driven not only by traditional film marketing but also by memes, curiosity and audiences' desire to experience the phenomenon for themselves, added Zhang. "Thanks to the strong conncted global online culture, such 'mission impossible' animation could become a global sensation and a reality."
